"The concept of a home grown estate agency wasn't an idea that happened overnight. This was a decision that was taken having met many estate agents over a period of many years and in many different locations. It's interesting how the internet has changed the way that we all shop, bank, book holidays etc, but although the change has been so incredible it's amazing just how many estate agents haven't moved with the times themselves.
Over many years of buying property my wife and I often felt that there wasn’t a personal touch when dealing with estate agents, we both experienced the same feeling time and time again. It seemed strange that you could walk into estate agencies shop looking to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds and you weren't even offered a seat or cup of coffee! Seemingly, you could go into a car dealership looking to spend a lot less and you would often receive a warmer welcome.
To be honest most of the agencies we contacted rarely knew anything about the properties they were marketing, often the staff were unapproachable and reluctant to offer any advice. We started to think that if the staff weren't very interested then why should we!

How did we do it?
Having decades of experience in sales and customer service, we were only going to deal with this in one way - putting service first.
One of the hardest things was initially identifying just how different we were going to be to the other agencies in town, there were so many and most were very established. Regularly in conversation with friends and the public the same question kept cropping up - what was going to be our USP, this was so hard to explain because we were so different in so many ways, we didn't have just one! Over time, our clients have answered this for us, we have met so many lovely people receiving many amazing reviews and comments.
Today we have the same energy and enthusiasm as we had when we first started, we may be a little older but we sure are a lot wiser!
